Hazrat Maulana Adam Sahab Khali

Muhammad Adam, also known as Maulana Muhammad Adam Khali, was born on October 10, 1948, in Sangra Ta.Palanpur, North Gujarat. His father, Haji Jalaluddin, was a farmer and operated a grocery store in the village. His mother, Maryam, was a devout worshipper, known for her modesty and support for Islamic scholars.

Muhammad Adam received his primary Deeni education in Sangra and his primary school education at the Government Primary School in Sangra. He continued his secondary and higher Deeni education at Darul Uloom Chhapi, Palanpur, graduating in 1969 according to the Hijri calendar (1389).

His teaching career began at Islampura Maktab (Fatehgadh), where he served for approximately five years. In 1974, he started teaching in Khali, invited by the residents of the village. This marked the beginning of his impactful career in education and religious leadership.

Achievements

Establishment of the Hifz Department at Khali: In 1986, Maulana Abdul Halim Sahab Jonpuri and former Shaikh ul Hadith of Darul Uloom Chhapi, Maulana Abdul Rahim Sahab Rajasthani, initiated the Hifz Department at Khali.

Establishment of the Makatib Department: Following the Hifz department’s establishment at Khali, the Makatib department began its services. The exact founding year is not available.

Establishment of Madrasa Jamiul Uloom – Dasada: In 1997, Hazrat Maulana Qamaruzzamaan Sahab laid the foundation stone for Jamiul Uloom in Dasada, Surendranagar. The madrasa started in 1998, offering education in Deeniyat, Hifz, and Arabic up to the 5th class. A government-recognized primary school (class 1 to 8) is also in operation.

Establishment of Madrasa Khadimul Uloom – Tharad: In 2015, responding to an invitation from Haji Ibrahim Patel, Madrasa Khadimul Uloom commenced operations in Tharad.

Conductance and Sufism: Maulana Muhammad Adam Khali initiated his Sufi journey during his student life, taking bay’ah from Sheikhul Hadith Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Zakaria Sahab. After Hazrat Shaikhul Hadith’s demise, he pledged allegiance to Hazrat Maulana Masihullah Khan Sahab Jalalabadi, and later to Hazrat Maulana Sheikh Qamaruzzama Sahab Ilahabadi.

Journey of Hajj and Umrah: Maulana Muhammad Adam Khali performed Hajj for the first time in 1991 (1411 Hijri) and again in 2007 with his second wife. In 2014, he performed Umrah with his wife.

Designations and Positions: Maulana Muhammad Adam Khali holds various esteemed positions, including Founder and Honorable Principal of Tahfeez Al-Qur’an in Khali, Ehya E Makatib, and Jamiul Uloom in Dasada. He is also a Member of the Kathiyawad Academy, Principal of Khadimul Uloom in Tharad, and Trustee of Miftahul Uloom in Deesa.

Children: Maulana Muhammad Adam Khali is blessed with nine children. Among them, six sons and three daughters, including Maulana Hafiz Talha (Present Principal of Jamiul Uloom – Dasada and Tahfizul Quran – Khali), Hafiz Hassan (serving in Tahfizul Quran – Khali), Maulana Muhammad, Maulana Mustafa, Maulana Mujtaba, and Mufti Khalil Ahmad, who are actively involved in the services of Jamiul Uloom – Dasada.

Death

In the night of 14 Rajab 1441 hijri, he suddenly fainted due to low blood sugar, he was taken to the hospital, he had became well too, but  the promised time had already arrived, so it was almost 3:45 a.m. on 14 Rajab 1441 Hijri  according to 10th March,2020. He surrendered his soul to the creator and after the Zuhar  prayer, Mufti Adam Sahab (Sheikhul Hadith And Head Mufti Of Jamia Naziriyah , Kakoshi ,Gujarat) performed his the funeral prayer and was buried at cemetery of the Sayyaids near the Madrasa at Dasada.
